As a means to introduce surfing to America’s psychologically and physically wounded veterans, Verizon and Operation Amped recently put together a memorable session at San Onofre. Vets from all branches of the service and their instructors were greeted with a playful swell and a day that none would soon forget. Special thanks to Verizon Wireless, Oakley and GoPro for their participation in the event as well.
